Our Program…
Wild Monarchs Child Care is a licensed family home child care program rooted in the belief that children learn best through play, exploration, creativity, and meaningful relationships. We provide a warm, nurturing environment where children can grow at their own pace while developing confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
Our days are intentionally balanced with opportunities for active play, outdoor exploration, creative expression, music and movement, Spanish language input, and quiet moments of connections. We believe that children learn through hands-on experiences, open-ended materials, meaningful conversations, and real-life discoveries.
Inspired by play-based, child-centered philosophies, we strive to create an environment where children feel safe, capable, and valued. We follow children’s interests, encourage curiosity, and support the development of social-emotional skills alongside cognitive growth.
Throughout the day, children may engage in activities such as:
Process art & creative exploration
Sensory play & discovery
Music, movement, and rhythm activities
Outdoor play & nature exploration
Building, creating, and problem-solving
Storytelling, books, and language development
Spanish exposure through songs, conversations, and play
At Wild Monarchs, we believe childhood is not something to rush through. We honor the wonder of early childhood by providing a space where children can learn, play, imagine, create, and simply be children.
A Day at Wild Monarchs
While each day is guided by the needs and interests of the children in our care, our daily rhythm provides a balance of predictability, exploration, creativity, and connection.
Arrival & Free Play
Children are welcomed into the day with opportunities to explore, play, connect with friends, and settle into the environment at their own pace.
Morning Gathering
We come together for songs, stories, finger play, movement activities, and conversations that help build community and connection.
