Meet Your Teachers
Shara Parker - Director
I have spent more than a decade working with young children and families, and from the moment I stepped into my first classroom, I knew early childhood education was where I belonged.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and have worked in a variety of early learning settings, supporting children through play-based, child-centered approaches that honor curiosity, creativity, and meaningful relationships.
In addition to my background in early childhood, I am a fluent Spanish speaker and have spent years teaching Spanish to children from preschool through middle school using a natural, conversational approach. I love helping children experience language through songs, stories, play, and everyday interactions.
Music has also bee a lifelong passion of mine. I have a professional background as a violinist and enjoy weaving music, movement, rhythm, and creativity expression into children’s daily experiences.
Perhaps most importantly, I am now a mother myself. Becoming a parent has given me an entirely new perspective on the trust families place in those who care for their children. It has deepened my understanding of the joys, challenges, and hopes that come with raising a child, and has strengthened my commitment to creating a nurturing environment where both children and parents feel supported.
One of the things I love most about working with children is how naturally I connect with them. I have always carried a sense of childlike wonder and curiosity, which allows me to meet children where they are, join in their discoveries, and build genuine relationships. I believe children learn best when they feel safe, valued, and deeply connected to the adults around them.
Jason Kaiser - Assistant Director
Jason has spent more than a decade working with children and families across a variety of educational settings. With a strong background in music and the arts, he brings creativity, joy, and meaningful connection to the classroom each day.
Jason earned a diploma in Popular Music and Sound Technology from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), where he developed his passion for music, performance, and creative expression. Throughout his career, he has used these skills to inspire and engage learners of all ages and abilities, helping children discover confidence, curiosity, and a love for music through hands-on experiences.
At Wild Monarchs, Jason weaves music naturally into the daily rhythm through songs, movement, rhythm activities, instruments, and playful exploration. His calm, patient nature and genuine enthusiasm for learning help create an environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to participate.
As a father, Jason deeply values family, relationships, and community. In his free time, he enjoys creating art, making music, spending time outdoors, and sharing meaningful experiences with those he loves.
Jason believes that every child deserves to feel seen, encouraged, and capable, and he is passionate about helping children develop confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
Our Story
Wild Monarchs was born from a shared passion for early childhood education and the belief that children deserve a childhood filled with wonder, connection, and meaningful play.
Jason and I had the opportunity to work together in the same classroom at a private school in Vancouver, Washington, where we built strong relationships not only with the children in our care but with their families as well. Creating a sense of community was always one of our greatest joys, and those relationships continue to this day.
Many years later, we still keep in touch with former students and families, and some of those children now enjoy playdates with our own daughter.
We believe early childhood is about more than academics. It is about creating a foundation of confidence, curiosity, belonging, and joy. We strive to provide families with a warm, welcoming environment where children are known, celebrated, and supported as unique individuals.
We’re committed to building the kind of community we would want for our own child - a place where children feel at home and families feel connected.
